Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Ok other 911 owners, this one has me confused: The cold tire pressure placard on the inside of the door frame has 19" cold pressure recommendations of 37 front / 44 rear, and has a qualifiying statement like "fewer psi can be used per the manual for partial loads". The manual also refers to a 'partial load' vs 'full load'. And I have that option of programming either into the dash for viewing tire pressures, but the manual doesn't define what is a partial load etc. Now it says don't exceed 660 lbs total (people plus luggage etc), but I seriously doubt I will ever more than about 450 lbs.! So...do I use the partial load or full load settings for psi and the dash option? What is considered a partial load? My dealer didn't have a good answer to these questions. Thx!

LOL. I have to believe the OP came up with a solution by now !! But to repond to your question, I run 34 lbs front and 40 lbs in the back on my 19" wheels with Michellin Pilot Super Sport tires . Unless you're hauling freight those settings will work just fine for the street. You can up the fronts to as much as 36 but anything more will feel pretty stiff on the road.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
