Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3Original post

The DFV system is a good all rounder, but biased more towards road use as opposed to track. If that's what you want then great, otherwise have a look at the KW range.

Besides the next thing you will 'bore' everyone with is page after page of pointless discussions about suspension settings. I can just picture the drivel now!

I'd be having a chat with David Masters at Bilstein UK to see if he'll sell you the dampers you want (be they PSS9/10 or B16) without their preferred springs. You can then do your due diligence on spring rates as I did when I had the 3 way adjustable Ohlins built for the Manthey GT3, then get the springs from Eibach UK who are on the same industrial estate as Bilstein UK....... I know someone else who's gone this route, the results were rather impressive........
