Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

In an effort to go back to a stock exhaust I’ve been piecing all the necessary items and thought I was ready to do the swap today but looks like I’m missing two items: 1i) this clamp which I can source from various places (P/N: 987-111-210-01) 2) the piece circled in red that attaches to item #1 which appears to be part of the support (P/N: 987-111-045-30) — also props to Rose Passion for including actual pictures of the item I have an aftermarket Cargraphics exhaust and that part of the support is not present on my car. Does anyone know if that connecting piece is available separately?

POST 2Original post

I had a similar issue going back to stock from an aftermarket exhaust and couldn't find those brackets. I couldn't find the part number and neither could the local Porsche dealer. In the end I bought another full hunger from eBay fairly cheaply, here in Europe, by looking for one from a series 1 987, P/N 98711104202. The hanger is a bit different but the brackets you need are the same and can be removed.

POST 3Original post

Thanks! I’ll be on the lookout for a cheap used support piece. Currently only one I can find online is a bit more than I’m willing to spend to go back to stock so in the meantime I’ll keep enjoying my Cargraphics catback.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
