Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi guys I've got a 52 plate targa that i bought in 2005. The problem is the roofs always leaking as soon as it is raining heavly or when i'm getting it washed at the local car wash, the water seems to gush down inside flooding the back seat, hence, condensation is a massive problem for me most of the time, thanks to the upsetting scottish weather Recently took the car to OPC and they've told me its a common fault, which i reckon is whole load bol...ks, and have quoted me 9 hours at £105 Plus vat i.e total £1087 to strip the roof and install a new seal, Now thats bloody ridiculous, having said that the cars only done 28000 miles in 7 years. Is there anyone on this forum whos getting this problem, or anybody whos got a 996 targa drain plan, to help me solve this. Much appreciated guys Tony
