Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Planet-9: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

My son sent me this as a spoof, knowing what I am going through waiting for this car. His way of getting even after I sent him the spoof photo of my car on a vessel. His comment was: 'I am my father's son...corny corny corny'.

POST 2Original post

kmns, We all do some crazy things while in this waiting period, and I can see that apple didn't fall too far from the tree! Somebody has to keep us laughing. I have been laughing at myself lately. You should see the ordeal I have made with the painting of my garage floor! Now I am looking at putting down poly foam tiles over the painted floor. My wife says the garage is going to look better than the living room! Oh well what's a guy to do. Aloha Russ

POST 3Original post

A quick look at the front shows us that this is NOT a Cayman ;-) I am glad we have those round fog lights - instant recognition !!! In any case a good picture and a very cute dog !!!

POST 4Original post

euro, I noticed it right away also, but I did not have the heart to tell him after all the time he must have spent on Photoshop cutting in his dog. Given the air ducts on the side, I figure it's a 911tt.

POST 5Original post

I agree 100% - when someone does something nice one should never complain ;-) The fact that he took time and did it shows that you have a nice son !!!

POST 6Original post

/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/whatchutalkingabout_smile.gif Damn! *smacks own hand* Serves me right for googling for a quick image indiscriminately. The dog in the Cayman is Oyster, my 5 year old Lab/Dingo mix. I was *going* to Photoshop our five cats in as well, with beer bottles hanging out the windows or something else of the like, but alas I didn't have time. The P'chop job took me about 10 minutes though, so the gesture wasn't nearly as heartwarming as you all might think. /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif

POST 7Original post

Euro, His mother (my wife) is Canadian. I usually blame the genetic pool for his errors/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif. Just pulling your chain, euro. Some of my best inlaws are Canadian./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/beer2.gif

POST 8Original post

O my God!!! My son has discovered this site. kmns-jr, how creative. Now I have to watch what I post. Welcome to the site son./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/hi.gif

POST 9Original post

Welcome Aboard kmns-jr! I give you credit for having the patients to do the work you did with Photoshop . I have had my Photoshop for a year now and I still couldn't do what you did. (you better keep an eye on that Dad of yours, he has been acting mighty strange lately)[/quote]<br style="font-style: italic;" /> Aloha Russ

POST 10Original post

Aloha ahiahi Russ, I feel like I've known the guy my whole life, and have to agree with you that his behavior took a not-coincidental turn for the stranger when he decided to buy a Cayman. He's normally 80% golf talk and 20% sleep, but nowadays it's 90% Cayman, 5% golf and 5% sleep, it seems. Photoshop 's fun. When you learn how to effectively cut things out and put them into other pictures, it opens a whole new world of absurd fun for the whole family. It's best learned in person though, so if I ever get to Hawaii I'd be glad to give you a personal tour of how to do the fun stuff. Cheers, Chris - Future Owner of Dad's Used Cayman (But Not Holding His Breath)

POST 11Original post

Chris, Nice to hear from you.I am gald to hear that Dad has found some newborn enthusiasm. I think we all have started aging in reverse now. I am also glad to see you have your Dad' sense of humor. I will work on that Photoshop , got a Canon 20D last year and I amstill trying figure that out!OF course if I didn't spend so much time here I might have time for something else, but I am having way too much fun here. Aloha Russ
