Very unique and cleans up the front, by using those LED's as turn signals.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

....then check out the design of the fog lights on the new 997TT! http://www.rennteam.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Board=997&Number=167704&page=0&fpart=1

<img src-"http://www.teknikensvarld.se/_internal/cimg!0/mj9wdtoa0r7pm6.jpeg"> The front quite good. Very unique and cleans up the front, by using those LED's as turn signals. Looks like there's a theme with the cross/divider of the side vents. The only flaw is the bad place for the fogs, it destroys this clean look. In my opinion, the fogs should be placed at the top corners of the middle vent, (If Porsche says it's a absolute necessity) to rid of the ugly 'circular side vents.' And yes, you can see the resemblance to the Cayman. This style may also appear on the Panorama. The rear needs to be reworked. I can't feel the rear fascia, namely the exhaust vents, the ones that has the exhaust pipes sticking out of it. It kinda gives it this,,, japanese look to the rear. I think if these vents were to be flipped vertically, there would be a better look to it... The whole rear section to me, resembles the 996 (from the side vent, to the rear bumper)

It looks like it has an over-bite/fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/taunt.gif

I think this might be a PS job unless people have seen many other shots of the car. I like the idea of LEDs for the signals, but I do hope there will be a way to replace them for the white LEDs. In some way I wish the Cayman had LEDs in the back - I think they make a 'I am new' statement /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbsup.gif

They look a bit like Frog Lights to me, again I have to agree with Crazy, but still a beautiful car. Carbon, that is pretty funny I had to go back and look and by golly I see it!! An overbite LOL. We are a funny bunch. I am sure there will be a website for 997TT folks and they will say, just listen to those Caymanuts knocking this stunning car! Ha! Ha! Russ

POST 9Original post

If that is, in fact, the layout of the front end on the tt, I will be very disapointed. Despite how much we all love, and many of us prefer, the looks of the Cayman S, I was hoping that the future designs of the 911 series would improve, if only to enhance my long time love affair with Porsche cars. In all honesty, these misplaced fog lights make the front end look awful.

POST 10Original post

CF - I see the picture is from NFS - was that a mod from the game or something in PS ? I did play with wheels and hoods, but don't recall any mods for the lights - in any case I think something like that would look very cool /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/regular_smile.gif
