Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

We have a few plain clthes copcars that us locals know about around here. (West Cornwall).
An 09 BMW following me the other day was one. Kept to limit of course until turned off into a 60 mph clean straight country road. Then left him behind before turning into a car park.
Amazingly he followed me, by which time I was walking away from the smoking car.
He stopped me and said I had accelerated to 60 in break neck speed and I should be more careful.
I remember my jaw dropping but nothing came out.
What would you have said ??
Answers to Camborne nick.
Tempting but I do not think is wise....
But you should have told him that is not your fault that his car is slow.....
. And as far as I am aware there is no restriction on acceleration.

Officer :cop:
"You really should see the forker take off, that was nothing compared to how it goes when a Pastie eating jobsworth twohat like you ist's looking
Now let's face it Babylon, you're never going to own one :hand: :envy: so admire my car a while DON'T FOOKING TOUCH then jog on."
Wir Kommen Ungesehen!!
That should do it!
ok thanks guys. I suppose I was having a bit of fun at his expense and he didn't like it. His beemer sported a deisel engine so that explains why he seemed to be going backwards in the rear view mirror.
I love the driveability of this car (C4) and it's really the norm to use it accordingly. Happy days.

...I think it's the motoring public that is pissed off. These stealth cars are all about entrapment. Previous to this incident I was flagged down and told I was doing 10% over the speed limit, ie 33mph.
These days there is definately a feeling of us and them.
I remeber when it wasn't like this.
It's almost paranoia on the roads today and needing eyes everywhere coupled with watching the speedo......well it's a recipe for trouble.
BUT we still manage to have fun.
Be careful out there.

I was on the M25 yesterday and noticed that someone had been pulled over by an unmarked police car - an unmarked, bright orange Focus ST complete with stop lights rising up from the rear shelf !
I think unmarked police cars have always been a snide way of getting convictions, but this is entrapment.
On my daily commute I spotted a 52 plate Black Vectra, you could make out the folded down 'Police stop' sign on the parcel shelf and next to the rear number plate was a 3" square box with a camera lens in the middle.
What supprized me is A it was an oldish car and B it was by no means clean. I bet it catches a few out.
It does miff me that you are not allowedby law to pull away fast in a car that is capable at not only performing such a manover safely but can stop on a sixpence.
52 plate Black Vectra! Oh wake up call, I wouldn't look twice at that!
Usually newish BMWs or focus ST's with 2 gentlemen in the front arouse suspicion.
