Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

OK - I've run out of Porsche graft, but here's the latest automotive trivia. An auto manufacturer built a test track on the roof of one of their plants. Name the manufacturer, the name of the plant. As a bonus, name a movie that the track was featured in. (This should be easy.)

Dang! That wasn't the one I was thinking of. I just learned something! Now I'm going to have to break out the Beaulieu Encyclopedia. Good one!!!

POST 4Original post

That's the one - odd I don't see any Mini-Coopers on the roof though ; -) FIAT and the plant is Lingotto. The Imperia (named after Emporere Charlamagne) purchased the plant site at Nessonvaux (or possibly the plant itself) from a company named Pieper - they made electric and hybrid gas/electric cars. The original Dr. Porsche got his start, IIRC, at Lohner designing a hybrid. Edited by - atr_hugo on 12/14/2005 3:51:09 PM
