Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

SF; you are so right about waiting being sooooo boring. I am passing the time with the RC Cayman and planning all the trips I am taking in the weeks after delivery. Your neck of the woods will be one come spring or summer time for sure. Might be able to do some retirement property shopping while there (I sure hope!!!).

POST 4Original post

SF, Yes it is tiresome, but I am finding that I am doing things I would have never done before, like cleaning out my garage to start. Now I'm in the painting process and then the roll out flooring that you suggested. I have been looking at other ways to make the home of my Cayman more exciting, and I think the sky is the limit. I keep finding websites that show garages that are so organized and functional that I want to just keep on doing things. At least that is one good way to occupy the time. Russ

<p class="MsoNormal" style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Russ is showing patience. I’m now worried that the sun will continue to rise. Really part of the fun is the anticipation. And all those who got cars before us just have older cars../fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/thumbs_up.gif

POST 6Original post

SF, You are 100% correct, a big part of the fun is in the anticipation, but how much can we take? This is a supreme test for me. I guess it makes it a lot easier knowing that there are MANY others going through the same thing. I have a question for you, someone mentioned The Moody Blues a while back and I know it was either you, Atlas or mpollard? Anyway it stuck with me, andI went to Barnes & Noble today and bought The Moody Blues Gold double CD, now there is one more thing I cannot wait to do, lsiten to them on my Bose! Aloha Russ

POST 7Original post

All this talk about cleaning out garages is begining to inspire me to address my own garage. This has been a sore subject around my home because when I retired eight years ago, my number one project was to organize my garage. Today it still remains a work in progress. My excuse has always been that I can't ever bring myself to part with anything, and that is why I am still married./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif My wife threatens to fix that if I don't organize the garage soon./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/omg_smile.gif What she has been unable to get me to finish for years, the Cayman S may succeed in doing. And in doing so, save my marriage./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/kiss2.gif This will definitely help pass the hours waiting for my Cayman S.

POST 8Original post

kmns, Today I loaded up my little pick up with all kinds of stuff the met the 1 year rule! That is, if I haven't used it in over a year give to someone that will. So there were a lot of lucky employees at my office today! And I just keep on giving, and still not even half way done. Get started, or go crazy waiting. Russ

POST 9Original post

Russ, My best friend, who has a 4 car garage because he collects vintage cars, uses the 'if you havn't touched it in 6 months, give it away or throw it out' rule. His garage is very organized. He has been threatening that one day, while I'm away, he will come over and empty out my two car garage. I like your 1 year rule better because I think It is less extreme. I guess my 20 year rule is not working too well./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/embaressed_smile.gif

POST 10Original post

I am always open for someone to come and help me out with the 1 year (or 6 mos.) rule. Usually I just cant bring myself to do it. Although maybe the Cayman is just what I need for the drive.

POST 11Original post

Fellas, I never said it was easy! I am a pack rat, it is like pulling teeth for me to give away perfectly good things, but this Cayman has me doing all kinds of weird stuff I wouldn't do before. I am sure youguys have the same affliction. In fact right now I am missing 'House', my favorite TV show, but I had to check in and get caught up on my Caymanews! Aloha Russ
