Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

i everybody, this is regarding my 2007 987 Cayman S . I have had an ABS/traction control light come and go. Now it is just staying so I scanned it and got a code for a rear driver's side ABS line. I bought the part and today I finally went to do the job. Well it ended up being worse than I thought, the main connector that houses the 2 ABS items has a huge crack in it and also the ABS wire that was above (or to the right in the photos) of the one I bought the part for was snapped at a 90 degree angle. I figured I'd reach out to see if anyone knows what parts these are? Separately I have some sort of leak coming from the front middle/passenger side of my vehicle circled in these pictures as well. If any one could outline what this is I would appreciate it as well. Thanks

POST 2Original post

The drip looks like it could be from the drain tube for the HVAC housing. Your AC runs all the time unless it's actually turned off by the driver -- so even in cool weather there can be some condensation dripping from the drain. Does the dripping fluid look like and feel like water?

As far as the broken connector - poking around I've been able to locate a repair kit for the front axle. There are some references to a rear repair kit - but no solid PN for it yet. Chances are if it exists they can track it down for you. That's the left-front repair kit. I can't imagine what the difference would be except perhaps wiring colors.
