Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I have had the car for just over a year now, same length of time as i had the C4S, with the C4s it was time for a change but not with the Turbo, just love it, quite fancy a remap and a better exhaust tho.

I know you said the C4S has enough performance, and you may think you wont use the extra performance of the Turbo, but beleive you will.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've owned my black C4S for some time now and I'd promised myself next year (good old 2010) I would trade up to a 996TT. The thing is - I'm so pleased with the 4S in every aspect really; wide body looks, normally aspirated PSE sounds, big brakes, reasonable servicing costs, I have to ask myself do I still really want a TT? Probably, completeness answers that.
An extra 100 horses is an obvious grin factor enhancer, but I must admit, the C4S has enough grunt for anything I would want to do in reality.
Just wandering if anyone else on here has made the switch from 4S to TT (please comment) or just contemplated it?
there is a noticeable difference in power and the TT's can be tuned to even higher levels if required, so consider it that you could have up to another 150bhp
23 years ago, I had a non-injection Sunburst Red 1981 XR3 Ford Escort and I traded that in for a 1 year old White Series 1 RS Turbo Custom.
The point is, that was like night and day!
I shall be looking very closely at TT's for sale next year, we will have to see :chin:
Hi,
I owned a C4S for just over a year, i then changed to a Turbo and can honestly say it was the best thing i have ever done, the car is just fantastic. Servicing costs etc are not really any more than the C4S was although it can get through back tyres pretty quickly and the mpg isnt quite as good.

Make the change, it will be the best thing you ever did.
Not a C4 'S', but a C4 to a Turbo... Awesome! Sound's not as good, but everything else is better (IMO). I also have the Tip (which I said I never would) and am loving it...
Best car I've ever owned :thumb:
