I am new here and just bought my wife a 5 speed 2006 Boxster, with 4600 miles from an estate, I have older 911s and 356s and this is our first late model. The car has not been serviced since new and still has warranty on it. What services do you all recomend I do (besides oil change ) to get it in tip top shape. Thanks

Hi and welcome, With only 4600 miles, you should still be in good shape. There's a lot of good information in the owner's manual (and here!) My best advise to you is to bring it to the dealership and have them do the two year service (at the least). Usually the service adviser has dealt with this type of situation before and will have some good advise. The two year service will check all the things that need to be checked and change some filters. If it doesn't already include it, it'll probably be a good idea to change the brake fluid. Otherwise these are great cars, and your wife should be a happy banana :banana:

+1 to the advice to take it to a dealer and get the service done, the inspections done, any factory recalls performed and establish a baseline. Modern Porsches are pretty fool proof when properly serviced and maintained and if you have a competent dealer that is the best place to start. We don't know how the car was used before you purchased it but it sounds like it had an easy life up to now.
