Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I have to garage my Boxster for several months. I have a battery tender and a Porsche car cover. I will also keep the garage slightly heated over winter. Is there anything else I need to do? Should I ask someone to take it for a drive every now and then? Appreciate any advice.

POST 3Original post

thanks Santa \fe for the quick response - useful info!

POST 4Original post

I'm surprised that Santa Fe missed mentioning this. There are storage tips in the owners manual. Raising tire pressures for one to reduce flat spotting.

POST 5Original post

Les, did you read all those referenced theads. The OM was mentioned. But you are so correct in pointing owners frist to the Owners Manual and then to our FAQ and tnen to the search tool to find the very best info.

POST 6Original post

Guilty as charged. I didn't reread all the threads even though I had many of them in the past. Just couldn't resist since you're usually the first to suggest reading the factory manual (RTFM).

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
