Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've got wet bottom on my passenger side door carpeted door panel. First thing to check is that the drain holes aren't blocked and then to see if the membrane seal is leaking. Are the drain holes the six small holes next to the outer door skin on the photo below ? I think the larger holes have plastic plugs in and are adjusters for the window mechanism.

Hi, Cant help with your question sorry, but that does'nt look like speed yellow?! brumbrum

POST 3Original post

Wet carpet along the doors of 996's is normally an indication that the door membrane needs replacing. Its confusing as if you take the door card off you normally can see no sign of any damage/ holes. The membranes are about £28 and can be fitted by any bodyshop, but you have to remove all the old adhesive very carefully, take car re the air bags or you'll need to reset the airbag light, if i remember correctly if you remove the -ve battery terminal and leave the key in the ignition in position 1 you can avoid the problem Porsche will charge you an hour and a halfs labour so i would take the car to a bodyshop and let them do it
