Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My seats aren't heated and I know it's an expensive seat swap or retro fit. Someone on another forum had said they were very happy with aftermarket plug in ones. I've had a quick look on Amazon and they seem to be fairly naff looking generic fit ones but I was wondering if anyone knew of any that work well with our seats, to make things harder my seats are grey. Edit ' not perfect but not a bad match. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Big-Ant-Cu...overs+grey&qid=1577189018&s=automotive&sr=1-7

POST 2Original post

I fitted some Waeco ones and have done a full write up on Boxa.net. They worked very, very well. Mine were grey aswell, you need to be a little competent in the fitting. Hope that helps Cheers Nick

POST 3Original post

As Grey says, ideally you want to fit the pads that go inside the seat, you need to take the seat apart and I'm guessing that is fiddly as the pads cost £30 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Heated-Warmer-heater-retrofit-Universal/dp/B0051BMMJ0 but fitted seems to be between £000 and £500!
