After several days of testing, and a PCNA rep coming by to test they decide to replace the engine.

2004 C2 5k miles total, 1.3k on new engine

First engine I am not all together certain what happend. I bought the car as a new 2004 last December 2005. THe car was delivered to me with 24 miles on the odometer. It was a car that somoene ordered late in 2004 who ended up taking a 997. This car sat on the lot. The dealership in an effort to move it last year put a nice price and a CPO warranty on it to help move it. I took delivery on December 14, 2005. I was meticulous in breaking in the car. Never above 4k rpm for 2k miles, and never above 4k rpm until the car was over 180 degrees in temp. One day the car had a flashing CEL. I imediately pulled over, shut the car off, and called PRA. They flat bed the car to the dealer. The claim it is a misfire on the #4 cylinder due to a bad coil. They fix and I move on. 3 weeks later the flashing CEL is back. I flat bed car to dealer again. They claim again a misfire on #4 cylinder caused by coil. At this point I am concerned because either the mis diagnosed or they simply do not know. Either is not good. They re arrage coils, check the plugs, etc and send me on my way. 2 weeks pass and falshing CEL is back. I was near the dealership when it happened so I drove it there. After several days of testing, and a PCNA rep coming by to test they decide to replace the engine. They say there were metal shavings in the oil filter I asked if it is a problem with the manufactoring, or if I did something wrong in how I was driving. I was assured they had been through all the "black boxes, and if I was at fault they would be having a different discussion". At that point I was at least assured that I did nothing abusive in driving the car. I have never taken it to the track. I drive it daily, and make sure that I always get it to proper temperature before I shut it off. You can tell from the pic above that I take meticulous care of the car. I am possibly interested in selling because I may have a chance to buy a 997 C2S from my brother in law. He was fortunate to stumble into a new Ferrari F430 this weekend, and needs to unload his car. If I did not have this opportunity at his 997 I would not get rid of mine despite a few issues in my 11 months of ownership. I think my car is a great car, and if I do not sell it I will drive it until my warranty ends in 2011. At that point if it is trouble free then I will keep it a few more years. If it is not then I will get another 911. Like I said the car has about 1300 miles on a brand new engine. I was there when it arrived in the box, and was able to see some of the installation. Really that was a cool process. I am being careful to break in the new engine too.
I am really interested in what anyone who knows might think it is worth.
I would advertise it at $57K and see if you get any takers.

At this moment my car isn't for sale. I was only asking the educated members of this forum what it should bring because I honestly do not know. I am simply wondering what I should list at should I decide to sell. Geez.
