Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Or am I better off taking it to some place in the San Francisco Bay Area to get it fixed.

POST 1Original post

Hello everyone, I am receiving a "Check Brake Light" error on my 987.1 Porsche Cayman. The error comes on more frequently when I have my headlights on or even with the headlights off and I am braking. The error code pops up frequently and disappears and sometimes stays on. This wasn't an issue until I installed Full LED (Jtec I believe?) on my Cayman. Do I need some sort of resistor kit? Or am I better off taking it to some place in the San Francisco Bay Area to get it fixed. It is so annoying... Any help/advice/thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all for your time! Bryan
