Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys, I was hoping you guys could help me figure out what's going on with my Litronic headlamp. My car is a 2000 C2 cab with the Litronics retrofit kit. Both the left and right lamps turn on fine but after driving for about 15 minutes the right lamp would flicker once and then a minute or two later would go out. This happens regardless of whether the road is smooth or rough. I thought at first that maybe the connection was bad so I popped off the right side lamp and popped it back on. That wasn't the problem. The lamp would still go out. It's weird though because as soon as it goes out I just turn the switch off and turn it back on and both lamps light up with no problem. Has anyone experienced this before? Is it a bad headlamp? A bad switch? A bad ground? I appreciate your insight. Thanks!

POST 4Original post

Try to do what other posts advised. I have a same problem and I did check fuse, wiring, bulbs but nothing can fix it until I brought my car to a Porsche shop to diagnose the problem. The owner is a good friend so he looked over and told me that the light switch was bad. He changed and the problem went away for good. Good luck!!!
