Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Hello all. I'm having a small technical difficulty with my new to me 07 Cayman S. It has the Bose sound, and has an aux jack and iPod adaptor input in the center cubby. I brought a cable out to connect my phone to the aux jack, and could not figure out how to access it from the front panel of the radio. A quick perusal of the owners Manuel yielded no mention of the aux input. Anyone out there know how you do this off the top of their head?

POST 2Original post

Sorry about the typo there. Auto- correct changed aux to six and I didn't catch it. Can't figure out how to edit the topic headline from my phone.

POST 3Original post

I have a 2012 Cayman with the newer stereo, but on mine I can press the "disc" button multiple times to scroll through the CD, USB and aux inputs. Maybe yours is the same?
