Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had to change one of these as a hub was needed to measure up for some custom brake parts and the bearing was rather wobbly. This is what I did... MC

POST 2Original post

Nice work; some proper engineering. Of course an OPC would tell you need an entirely new hub.....

POST 4Original post

That's actually not true .. after 10 years at an OPC i can safely say they wouldn't say you needed a new hub .. They would say you needed a new car sir and here is a salesman .. Edit .. On a serious note then videos like this are a god send to people wanting to do this at home :worship: ref the bearing race stuck on the flange .. you can put it in a vice , use a 3 inch cutting disc and cut away the majority of the race , a sharp smack with a hammer / chisel and it will snap and can be easily removed. Just an alternative if you don't have a puller set with small jaws to grab the race .

POST 5Original post

Good job you got some practise on mine earlier in the year Martin. Still all good.
