Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
If you are an adult and are hoping to sit in the back seats for a long journey then make sure you have arranged for a wheelchair at your destination, as you will have lost the use of your legs by then.
Leading evidence: 'Use of your legs by' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use of your legs by' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

They tilt forward to the extent that it feels like you are about to be fired out of a canon. Very disconcerting, even for kids.

Aside from the very upright back, with either of the front seats fully back, there is no leg room either. I suspect it would be a pretty claustrophobic place to sit for an 8 year old, for anything more than a quick local trip.
I have 6 and 10 yr old kids. They're still OK in the back of a 2002 996 C4. When we bought it we considered, but rejected, the cabrio option as the seat backs made all the difference.
My daughters (13 and 15) fitted in the back perfectly well (but both my wife and myself are short-ish so no leg room problem). Take a wee cushion for the small of their back if you're going any distance as that will correct their seating position.
When I had a Coupe, rather than the current Cab, the two kids had plenty of room for a 250 mile trip and were quite happy in the back. The Cab, unfortunately, is a completely different kettle of fish. Just extra luggage space IMHO.

Same here dont go for the cab, that tilt forwards is horrid. Plus in the worst scenario no roof. Very worrying. Imagine what could come into the car? trees etc..
993 coupe even, is better than 996 cabrio.
996 coupe fine for kids, if they moan leave em at home!
If they moan!! in a 911!! :nooo: Isnt that what the hopefully specced Bose system is for, just turn it up. Works with the missus, can't hear a thing
