Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Hello people,
My first post here and just to explain, I don't currently own a Porsche but owning one is a childhood dream I hope to make come true soon! Now I have been looking around and much prefer the look of the C4S due to the wider body and the IMO much better looking rear compared to the 997. The only thing that gets to me is the front end, I have never been a big fan of the 996 front lights and would prefer the 997 front end. I still like the 996 front and would probably grow on me if I bought one though.
Now I know it would maybe look odd to some but the 996 C4S rear + 997 front to me is just...perfect! What are your opinions on this and does anybody have any idea on the cost of doing this sort of conversion?
I can't explain it very well but there is just somthing about the rear of the 996 that looks good, a combo of the C4S reflector strip and the spoiler from a Turbo would be spot on. Please don't shoot me for talking of defacing a 996!
hi,
i'm sure most will say its down to personal choice. i can understand your reasoning.
in case you weren't aware, hamann do a an amazing conversion.

not sure what you budget is, but the interior in a 997 was one of my main reasons for not going for the 996 C4S. maybe getting a 997 and changing the rear is also an option.
Cheers
