Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Does anyone have part numbers for the rear sway bar, bushing and brackets for a Cayman R I've searched online but they give 6 different bushing part numbers with no description. It's for a 2006 Cayman S , non pasm and with manual transmission. Thanks

POST 2Original post

You want to fit a 2012 987.2 stabilizer bar to a 2006 987.1? IDK if it will work, but I'd look at the Gen2 PET (covers 2009-2012 Cayman, all models) Look at pg 176. 2009-2012 Cayman PET

Sway bar part number 987.333.701.07 Right bracket 996.333.777.01 Left bracket 996.333.777.01 Didn't see a part number on the bushings, I can measure the sway bar diameter next to the bushings if that helps. Sway bar: Right bracket: Left bracket:

POST 4Original post

According to the PET I linked, the bushings for the 'R' are 996.333.792.26 The brackets (Bearing clamps x 2) are the same as the 'S' and base. So he can re-use the originals. Your photos verified the PET part numbers for the stabilizer and clamps.
