yep removed front bumper,drivers inner arch,didnt remove aircon rad just un done two screws and slid it out of way,removed fan housing and bracket replaced rad filled her up ,purged air through overflow pipes on both rads warmed up and put her back together,miss spent youth from dismanteling anything mechanical

just changed my off side rad,pretty straight forward all completed in about 3 hrs £135 for rad so saved about £220 happy days,must admit running a 911 is like running a third world country, seems to need something every month and it sits in the garage , oh well looks the bollocks and handles like a dream

Well done :thumb: Feels great when DiY goes to plan not only £££'s saved but that feeling of achievement. *Advice* Keep your eye on the water level over the next few drive cycles, it may suddenly drop as the last of the air dispurses, many leave the lever in the upward position for a few drives as this will purge out unwanted air bubbles.

Pat, 3 hours sounds fast, did you have to take the front of the car off and remove the aircon condensers before getting to the cooling rads? Also, did you need any specialist tools for any part of the job? Cheers
