Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Looks like Webbo is right, or at least I hope he is as MAF change didn't make a difference.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just had a fabulous day north of Bedford with the JP racing team. On my way home had the opportunity to open up my C4S, the 'check engine light' started flashing with a message 'drive to garage'. I accepte the message and the check engine light stayed hard on. I then checked oil pressure and water temperature - all was normal. On the rest of my drive home I found the engine a bit lumpy, aprticularly at 3000 rpm. It felt like the car was getting either the wrong amount of fuel or air and hence lumpy at particular rev ranges.
Searching through the forum I've seen MAF and oxygen sensors being potential culprits - could this be my issue? Are these sensors one and the same thing? Can it just be cleaned or must it be replaced? Is this an OPC component or is there a third party option?
Cheers Ray
Looks like Webbo is right, or at least I hope he is as MAF change didn't make a difference. Thanks to lloyd for his help and guidance as well as supplying parts at competitive prices :worship:
Hopefully a few new coils will get me back on the road!

Webbo is right :worship:
Three new coils on the offside and normal performance has been resumed! Mind you I fould that one of the retaining clips on one of the connectors had been snapped off by some oik previously. OPC Hatfield changed my spark plugs a few thousand miles ago and didn't mention the problem.......... OPC tell me that it's £900+vat for a new loom. I won't be taking that route, a tie wrap will have to suffice! Took me best part of 4 hours to get the rear most connector (broken tab) on as it's so difficult to get at and line up, what a bit*h of a job!
Anyway all sorted now apart from the fault light needs to clear. Richard H tells me that it'll clear in 10 start cycles if the fault has cleared, which I'm assuming that it has as my vibration has all gone, thank goodness!
