Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

I recently had cross coilovers from Farnbacher installed. there is a clunk over bumps in the road...comes from any of the 4 wheels that hit the bump (or more likely, depressions or medium potholes). Its not a bump stop sound because i think it happens as the tire sinks into a hole and moves away from the car as the dampers/springs expand. my car is lowered about 32mm on all fours. is this a mandatory side effect of the mod or could there be an error on the instal? (mechanic says "normal" for mod but that doesnt mean it's so!) (also submitted in "competition" forum)

POST 3Original post

JIC Coil over noise I had the JIC Coil overs installed on my Boxster S since December and have not noticed any noise from the suspension. I run them on eight clicks from hardest setting on the street and 4 from hardest on the track. I am very happy with them.:burnout:
