I have decided that since I'm in this far - I'm gonna change all the bulbs to LEDs.

Bulbs are quarter turn and easy to replace but you might want to replace them with LEDs, just get the polarity around the right way.

Hi guys. I just noticed the bulb that illuminates my oil pressure gauge on the right hand side of the cluster is out. How do you get at the bulb? It's a 99 C2 Tiptronic.

Not a difficult job, the MAcarbon instructions look good but step one says sensor cap. This is a cover for a telephone mic [if you have one] and they are easily broken so take care. Bulbs are quarter turn and easy to replace but you might want to replace them with LEDs, just get the polarity around the right way. Check all the bulbs are working before you reassemble the unit. Many thanks for the replies chaps. I have decided that since I'm in this far - I'm gonna change all the bulbs to LEDs. I am having difficulty however opening the actual casing of the cluster to get at the bulbs. There is a clip at the bottom that I have released and wedged the 2 sides open but there seems to be some resistance to pop open still and I don't want to force it. Any ideas?
