Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have moved across from the 964 forum having just sold my 964 C2 that I have owned for over 6 years. Sorry to see it go but it has been replaced with a 996 Turbo S, black/black with GT3 wheels. My kids keep telling meoff because I stare at it out of the front window. Sad b'stard!! Anyway hello I know I will have as much fun reading the threads on this forum as I did on the 964 forum.

POST 3Original post

Sounds really nice - probably my next move as well 8) As above - Pics please

POST 4Original post

:welcome: staring out the window at your car is normal, it's when you start licking it that you have to worry - 996 Turbo S is a GOOD choice :thumb:

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Only got the piccies from JZM but it is mine!

POST 6Original post

:cloud9: I wouldn't be staring at it out the window, I would be sleeping in it!

POST 7Original post

Do I see something white in the background that looks like a 997 GT2?

POST 8Original post

Welcome Sarfend, nice car. Andrew, you like white 997 GT2? http://fwd.five.tv/gadget-show/videos/challenge/gadget-show-versus-part-four TB

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This is not a plug for JZM but apart from a good buying experience, they had some quality cars in stock when I was there. GT2s, a wonderful Speed Yellow GT3 with various interesting upgrades, 997 Turbo, a yellow 964 Turbo.

POST 10Original post

POST 11Original post

POST 12Original post

I am also a new owner and very proud of my 2004 911 C4S, took me months and months to try and find the right one. Having been a fan for the last 15 years, my dream to have one by the time i was 30 came true. Every time i look at or even get in my car i've got a big smile on my face.

POST 13Original post

Absolutely stunning car 8) I too would be staring at it most of the time. Not sure my work chariot would get a look in regardless of weather!

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In case anyone thought I was a Walter Mitty type here is the car at home.
