Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

It's really on how the cars feels to you...if you feel it drives just as well as any other one you test drove, and the price is worth your while then sure.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

CPO '04 C4 Cab w/ 5K miles for $56K, but salesman said it's one of the dealer's cars that has been rear ended w/ frame damage. Claims to be fixed and I'm surprised that they could CPO it.

My inclination is to run no matter what the bargain. Thoughts?
TIA.
My guess is most people will say a wrecked Porsche isn't worth it as it won't drive the same....I personally dont have experience in this so can't say.

No idea how they got to CPO a car with frame damage but I guess the dealer can do whatever he/she wants to sell their personal car...
pretty car- are you going to keep it? then whats it worth to you? I had a friend that tried to sell a '93 964 cab for 3 years that had preivious repair and got half of book in the end - somehting to think about.
It is surprising that it's CPO'd...of course the engine is in the rear too so you have to wonder if the impact was strong enough to cause frame damage how much damage was caused to the engine
I considered a car with what the selling dealer said was a minor rear end damage. I tracked down the shop which did the repair to discover that the damage was far worse than represented. I decided not to buy the car because the extent of the damages was misrepresented, but I thought the body shop guy's advice to me was pretty sound. He said that if the car drove well and you were going to keep the car for a long time, then buy it if the price is adequately discounted. If you might want to sell the car in the foreseeable future, take a pass because it will be difficult to sell.
Don't buy it because of the accident, and my advice is not to buy from BH Porsche - they were an overpriced nightmare for me to deal with during my purchase experience.
Thanks all for the input, you reconfirmed what my gut already told me. If something's too good to be true...
I'm actually surprised that they disclosed the history over the phone. When I was looking for a 993 a couple years ago I didn't hear the best of things about BH Porsche.
Have a good weekend all.
