Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

996 Cab owner with the standard water ingress issues Passenger door membrane has been replaced twice in six months. Once by an OPC and then again by an Indy. Was fine for six months and is now leaking again. Only area getting wet is the door card directly below the speaker area. :?: Rear passenger footwell was also getting wet. indy cleared the drain holes Its still getting wet I have just paid £300 for an Indy to sort this, yet same problems remain  Any body help with where to look next???? Cheers

POST 2Original post

My first call would be to go back to both the OPC and the Indy to get them to resolve the respective ingresses, for which you have already paid. Why should you pay for anything else until they explain why the work they have already charged you for has not resolved the problems. If you are getting water back in 6 months then the membranes were a) Not the cause of the ingress b) Not fitted correctly and have failed c) Supplied faulty so need replacing None of these should be chargeable.
