Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Okay guys, I just picked up my cs a month ago. Today, as i was leaving work i notices a puddle coming out of the front driver side of my car. I felt the liquid and it didnt feel like water. It was a slippery. So i call posrche rusnak westlake and they say that its probably nothing but a little AC runoff and a little rain water. My question is that is doesnt feel like water, so what possible leaks can happen at the front of the car? there are only two radiators right? Please help.

POST 2Original post

If the Run Off is just Behind the Front Right Wheel - This is from the AC Unit - If it is from in Front of the Wheel - This could be from the Radiator.

POST 3Original post

is coolant slippery? Also, the liquid dripped down the slop of the garage yesterday and i came back this morning and its still there. So, im guessing its an oily substance.

POST 4Original post

The Coolant is Slippery / Soapy, to the Touch.......... Have you checked if the coolant is Low under the Light Blue Cap in Rear Little HatchWay? (With the Car on a Level Surface)

POST 5Original post

This does sound like coolant... you should take the car into the dealer - my guess is a hose clamp on that side is loose... I've heard of this happening quite a bit. brad

POST 6Original post

yes i checked the coolant and it is low. It is slightly below the min.

POST 7Original post

Okay guys i found the solution to my problem....It was not even my car that had a leak. Some other guy parked in my spot with a leaky engine and i thought it was mine. Whew. lol. My car has been running beautifully now for over 2k miles. My daily driver.

POST 8Original post

Sounds like a guy I used to know -- he liked to play practical jokes on people with new cars by pouring a puddle of antifreeze or oil under the cars. He eventually gave it up when he realized that most people were too clueless to notice the puddles.

POST 9Original post

You know, that's really sick. But I like it and may need to steal the idea for some friends of mine!

POST 10Original post

That, my friend... ...Is the best prank I have ever heard of. :hilarious:
