Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

The exhaust on my 987.2 appears to be crooked. I've looked around and so far I haven't been able to find anything about this issue. Is there any way to fix this? Included are pictures of the exhaust in question.

POST 2Original post

You just need to loosen the bolt holding the clamp for the tips. It's the upper one in your second photo. Then tap and twist until it's nice and straight and retighten the bolt.

POST 3Original post

Hello, Just loosen the clamp holding the tip and rotate the tip until it is level. Then retighten the nut. (You may need to use oil to loosen the nut on the clamp to allow it to turn) Have fun.

POST 4Original post

It may have some leaks at the joints but it does not look cooked to me. As others have recommended you can loosen it up jiggle it into place and retighten. If that does not work they sell stuff to put on the joints before they are joined that will seal them. I believe that stuff, I've only seen it on TV shows, hardens with time and temperature. So once used it may make taking the exhaust apart in the future difficult. Good Luck!
