so after about a year off the road i want to get my 996 T back in use so ive just fitted overhauled my original suspension and notice my wheels are rubbing on the inside of the arches but not marks on the outside of the arch so im assuming i need to run 5 mm spacers ?

Hi Mine has been running with 5mm spacers all round for about 10 years. Bought mine from OPC Hatfield along with the appropriate longer bolts HTH Ps - your car looks great - enjoy :thumb:

RUF shows a different tyre for the rear for 19 inch wheels on a 996 Turbo: https://ruf-automobile.de/en/product/ruf-19-zoll-aluminium-radsatz-85-j-x-19-11-j-x-19-2/ The tyre size RUF suggests looks to be a better match than yours too, so maybe it won't rub? However, I am no expert in the matter - I am still on the original 18 inch setup. https://tiresize.com/tyre-size-calculator/ 235/35R19 - 648mm diameter 295/30R19 - 660mm (+2.0% compared to 235/35R19) 315/25R19 - 640mm (-1.2% compared to 235/35R19)
