Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

So after owning my new cayman s 987 for a few weeks i get its first failure, it started with just an intermittent PSM failure which would sometimes come on but went away after turning the car on and off, however now its a constant ABS and PSM failure. The fault code was for front right wheel speed sensor which i changed for a matching Bosch one, and after a few miles driving it both light went out and all was fine, however after parking the car and then driving it the next morning both ABS and PSM lights came back on, to make sure the sensor was working i cleared the codes and swapped it for the front left and i was still getting the front right wheel speed code. Now i read up about the wheel bearing also being the pulse ring for the ABS to pick up on, could it be possible that there is a fault with the magnetised layer on the wheel bearing?

POST 2Original post

I would think, wheel bearing. Loose wheel bearing would wobble causing the signal to be out of range. Just a guess.
