Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Cleaned, clayed, fresh wax, changed the oil, fuel stabilizer and battery maintainer and all the rest of the "prepper" routine happened at my house over the weekend as well.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1Original post

Well, the time has come. It was 70 and sunny yesterday, but it is 38 with wet snow today and tomorrow. I put the car into storage yesterday, any one else put their beauty away for the winter? I hope winter is as short as it was last year!

POST 2Original post

Just put Michelin Alpin 4s on the oem 20" rims. Mounting next week here at home.. Can't bear thought of not driving the 911 over winter hehe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

POST 3Original post

Still driving mine and will until I leave for Florida in it in early December. I can notice the tires being harder already and not softening up like they do in the summer. But I'll take it easy until I get farther south. Last year I'm sure I was the only guy on I95 bleeding off air at a rest stop because the temperature had risen 35-40 degrees by the time I hit Georgia. Car will stay in Florida until April when I'll drive it north again.

POST 4Original post

We live in Pa year round and get 100"+ of snow a year. The salt brine they put on the roads up here is devastating stuff, the car will get no where near it! I guess storing the car makes spring all the more worth the wait.

POST 5Original post

+1 here in the snow belt of NE Ohio I do not want my Porsche anywhere near a salt truck or any other driver on an untreated road. It does not matter how good your winter tires are, it is what is on everyone elses car around me that scares me! Cleaned, clayed, fresh wax, changed the oil, fuel stabilizer and battery maintainer and all the rest of the "prepper" routine happened at my house over the weekend as well. Cover on and up on the lift for the winter. For those that store, be sure to contact your insurance agent. I know this varies by state, but here in OH we can turn off most of the coverage on the car while in storage... Makes you feel a little better about putting it away for the winter! Here is to an early spring
