Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have to say across three boat I used a callsign but no name on the boat, nice and clean on the transom.

Didn't mean to sound snobby using the term "yacht" - not in the classical sense.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Mine is from the who song but the first two years I had it I refered to my car as "unchanined" because of Van Halen and because compared to everything else I ever drove that's what this car feels like.
Van Halen - Unchained (HD) - YouTube
These cars are so focused they're enjoyable anytime you aren't in traffic. I didn't speed at all on my summer trip (although I must say the traffic flow is cooking to begin with anywhere posted 70) I did see some four year old boy gobsmacked at the car, haha another victim of the Porsche virus. You know he's going to get one someday.
What do you call yourself on the marine radio? I have to say across three boat I used a callsign but no name on the boat, nice and clean on the transom. PS What length, beam and make was it?
I rarely needed to hail on the radio, but when I needed to, (and not just chatting to a friend) I used a generic description ("37ft white Trojan Express") The beam was 12'. Didn't mean to sound snobby using the term "yacht" - not in the classical sense. But it was more than a typical motor boat. It was also a fuel hog (about .5 mpg). It spent most of it's life just tethered to the dock behind the house.
I didn't think you were being snobby, I was genuinely interested, besides IMO a 37' Trojan is most certainly a yacht. Mine was a 25' Sundancer 8.6 beam considerably smaller.
My wife (a bit passive aggressively [emoji2955] ) calls it “zippy”. My friend with a
997.2
Turbo S calls her “Jane” as in Plain Jane after a comment I made about it being a base car and gateway drug into Porsches…
I just say I’m going for a drive “in the
Cayman
” or sometimes “in the Porsche”.

For decades, we've named all of our vehicles and it's a long list. Same thing for small (usually kitchen) appliances as well. Check the threads, as naming our cars is pretty common in the P-car world and beyond; it's a lot of fun.
I'm not usually a fan of red cars, but that is just gorgeous. To the original question, I've never understood assigning personal names to inanimate objects. But, if it floats your yacht....
My
Boxster S
is named “Lovejoy” because my wife, Joy, let’s me screw around buying and selling sports cars. My Cayenne S is named “Nelly Bell” after Pat Brady’s jeep on the Roy Roger’s Show … as in “woah Nelly!”. So yes, I name cars that are worthy of it … some for good reasons and some for not so good reasons … when I was a kid in the early 60’s, my Mother had a 1948 Chrysler with ‘fluid drive’, which was a clutch-less manual three speed on the column. We named it Bolivar Shagnasty after a Red Skelton character because it was such a terrible car … it stunk, was hot, had itchy mohair seats, was embarrassing to be dropped off at school in … an epic 7 yr old’s nightmare of a car. In between, I have had many nameless cars, and feel that ‘cars worthy of a name’ would be a great ad campaign for Porsche.
My wife and I named our 2009
Cayman
"The Batmobile" after unintentionally smacking a low-flying mammal at 70 mph during our inaugural drive. Speed, handling, a distinctive engine sound, and a head turner. The name seems apt on several levels. Besides, whenever we get ready to go somewhere, I can say, "To The Batmobile, Sheila!"
My '05
Boxster
is Harvey--after Hurricane Harvey, through which he was apparently declared flood salvage for very little reason, allowing me to buy him for much less money
We also have Inga the 2004 Volvo V70R, Beatrice the 1994 Toyota Corolla, Babe (the Blue Ox) which is a 2017 (blue) Tacoma, Zelda the 2016 Highlander (her license plate is ZDW-### which suggested the name Zelda to us),.
My 2004 BMW Z4 was Veruca (I want it now!) from Willie Wonka. I've had my 2016
Boxster
since she was born, but we refer to her as, "the red car" since she is Carmine Red and all other cars have always been white.
