forwards and backwards a few times gets it all nice and dry, you can then change the cotton wool for a larger piece and wrap the whole car up.

Hi everyone! After the winter driving, any suggestions regarding jet washing or steam cleaning the underside of our prized motors? Having a C4S, it was really good in the snow (until I picked up a puncture), and with all the driving about on the salty n gritty roads, where in North Yorkshire could I have it cleaned? I guess it would have to be up on a ramp to effectively have all the nook & crannies done? All the best for 2010!!

Yes sorry I forgot to add that if you're a 993 user then you will also require Boots cotton buds they are very absorbent and a bargain for a branded item :grin: I think some people get their cars underbody power washed for a reasonable fee at the indies. Can't remember where I saw it now

i like to drive through a ford then drive onto a large bed of cotton wool... forwards and backwards a few times gets it all nice and dry, you can then change the cotton wool for a larger piece and wrap the whole car up. The car is then ready to store in my bed with me and the misses overnight. :thumbs: otherwise pressure washer seems to do the job.
