A post on another forum suggested I raise the pressures by 5 or more pounds with the ignition on (engine off) and then lower back to recommended pressure.

I replaced a tire a week and 150 miles ago and the TPC mode in the dashboard alert system still says it is offline. How long should it take to "learn" about the new tire? I have the tire-shaped alert on my center gauge as well as the exclamation. Any experience with this?

The sensor is probably broken or defective. The system should learn a new sensor in about a mile.

The dashboard display now shows all tire pressures accurately, but the Tire Alert and Exclamation point are both still lit. If the sensor(s) were bad or out of battery power I would think the pressures would not show. Is there a re-set available for the TPC that anyone knows of?

t The only way I know how to get rid of those indicators is to go through the learning process again. Then they go away.

I go into the menu that says TPMS and do the reset procedure, if they are 7+ years old just get new ones, the Huf brand are the same as OEM that Porsche uses, my tire installer puts these in for no charge if he is doing tires. I would caution you to make sure that they used the correct sensors. The model for current 718 's is not the correct one for your car. The sensors in my winter tires are from 2015 when I bought the wheel set and they do not work on my 718 - you may have the opposite problem. The Huf sensors linked in schell's post appear to be the correct ones.
