Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Use 1 litre' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace /bleeds' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Suggestion
I'd stick with the SRF, it may cost more but it lasts longer between changes/bleeds...

Don't think you'll go wrong with any that you mentioned, just make sure you change every year :thumb:

Suggestion
Also used 2 litres each time to make sure it was properly flushed, not nice seeing all that lovely clear brake fluid going to waste when it's nearly £40 a litre, but was really paranoid about mixing srf with anything else.

Both good, just don't think i'm getting my brakes hot enough to use the benefits of srf.....must try harder

Unsuccessful attempt
Have used srf for two years with no probs, way better than standard, but due to being a twit and not planning ahead i didn't have any when it's yearly change was due at the last service and so changed to racing blue. Got to say that i noticed no difference and probably drove harder on the racing blue than i did on the srf.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After suffering a sudden long pedal at Brands last year, despite being flushed only 6 months beforehand, I need to upgrade my brake fluid. What performance brake fluid do you all use and where's the best place to buy it?
From what I've seen and heard the best options appear to be:
Castrol SRF Best price £38 per litre (excellent but seems expensive)
ATE Racing Blue Best price £12.95 per litre
Motul RBF600 Best price £24 per litre
Also anyone know what the brake and clutch system capacity is?
Thanks
Says the man who's spent more than anyone else so far...

SRF is the business, but it's recommended that you change it every year because it's incredibly hygroscopic, so even if it still works as a brake fluid the absorbed water can start to corrode the internals of the braking system and that's likely to become
very
costly.
Fearnsport do it for me (usually in conjunction with changing the brake discs at one end or the other :x ) and they tell me it's a little over a litre.

So, where do you all get it from? Prices vary amazingly.
I've bought a couple of litres of SRF for £77 to seriously flush the system, so looking forward to the season and some serious (confident!) braking for a change.
Thanks for the replies
