Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

The 'goal' is to have the 2nd site up and running tomorrow, then simply do a cut-over with the IP address to the new IP address, but that is always dependent upon how quickly DNS records get changed.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 3Original post

Thanks K-Man the new site should be great. Do you anticipate any more down time during the transition? Also if someone doesn't want to post their address openly just send me an email and I will record it. [email removed] Aloha Russ

POST 4Original post

It can be a bit tricky with a IP change - that will happen if going to a new server, and it will be difficult to stay up. It is possible to do with little interruption, but often it takes a couple days downtime.

POST 5Original post

Also - I don't mean to speak for K-Man S, rather that is my own experience with Sculpture Community.

POST 6Original post

Oh if you need to email me it is russ at sculpture.net - I list it that way because it help defeat automatic web crawlers that comb for email addresses.

POST 7Original post

The 'goal' is to have the 2nd site up and running tomorrow, then simply do a cut-over with the IP address to the new IP address, but that is always dependent upon how quickly DNS records get changed. What I'm hoping for is that you don't have any 'down' time but that the transition to the new server simply happens when it happens. I'm receiving a monkey wrench in the mail tomorrow but I think I already have a work around for that issue and there will be little to no impact.
