I am allready using Firefox on my PC platform for the security benefits, but had not done so up to now on Mac.

I post on both the PC platform and on an Apple imac G5. On the PC I get the Message: space to type in, as well as a group of icons above it to do various things with my message. On the Apple, however, the icons do not appear. The only thing that appears is a Subject: area and a Message: area. This limits me to only text, and have no means to enter pictures, alter text size and format, etc. I am using Safari as my browser. Is this a limitation that is on all Apple machines, or is there a fix? Thanks to any of you Mac users for your response. Edited by - kmns on 12/19/2005 06:15:20 AM

Thanks hsjb, I just downloaded firefox for Mac OS X and it works perfectly. I am allready using Firefox on my PC platform for the security benefits, but had not done so up to now on Mac. BTW, before downloading Firefox on Mac, I tried the Mac Explorer browser and it did not work at all with this site for posting.

Forget Explorer anyways. Microsoft stopped working on Mac Explorer two years ago and will remove it from their website next month. (Just announced)

Good point hsjb. This is why I had not even tried Explorer prior to now. I was just curious. This is just further proof of how lame the Microsoft applications are. This is why I have both platforms. Unfortunately there are still vital applications for me that are only available on the PC platform. When this issue improves, and it is making great progress, it will be adios Microsoft./fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/hi.gif
