Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Outcome without a verified action link

I have the exact same problem with my C4, tried the 148 and it fixed it for about a week, checked the fuse at the bottom of the changer and it's fine.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Since yesterday, my multi CD changer has not been recognised by PCM. I can eject it with all CDs intact. When I switch PCM on, it says "CD changer error". I can play single CDs on the PCM on the head unit. Any idea what is wrong? Thanks for the advice.

POST 2Original post

try a system reboot press buttons 148 whilst unit is on and it will reboot system.. if not you will need to get it checked out with tester to read fault codes

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I tried this today. "System error-CD changer not available" Is it connection problem with Cd changer or something more serious?

POST 4Original post

I have the exact same problem with my C4, tried the 148 and it fixed it for about a week, checked the fuse at the bottom of the changer and it's fine. The same "System error-CD changer not available" is showing?! Will let you know the cause when it's fixed, or if your's fixed first can you let me know!?
