Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all I am a very happy man, I have just bought my first Porsche, it's a '99 zenith blue 911 carrera cab. I bought it off a brilliant bloke, Pete (milleplod) today. No doubt I will have loads of questions to fire at all you fine people, however I will try and use the search facility as much as possible! I called round a friends last night in my old car (x type Jag) and he has snapped my hand off for it, so I'm gonna be starting the new year in great shape. Thanks to all the replies on my thread on the subject of rear space in a cabriolet, my 8 year old daughter's fine in the back. All the best Gary

POST 6Original post

Welcome Gary - since I'm also from Derbyshire (as is Milleplod) I've actually seen the car and met Pete in person on a number of occaisions. You have a car with a sound engine there, as I know it has had serious money spent on an silsleeved motor. I bet you can't wait for the weather improve! :thumb:

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've got her in the garage drying the soft top so I can get the hard top fitted at the minute, so I'll take some pics as soon as I can. I'm a keen amateur detailer (only on my own cars) so after I've given her a once over I will post some more pics up. Now off to a 911 shop for discs and pads! Happy new year everyone. Gary

POST 11Original post

Got yourself a bargain there, I remember Pete talking about it a few weeks back. Welcome to the clan & happy new year. Let the love affair begin.
