Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

took your advice and removed the panel near the diag socket and luckily there is a little inspection hatch, and there is was a tiny piece of leaf, this must have dropped in when i cleaned the pollen filter

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Happy new year everyone. my interior fan has just started lightly ticking - a bit like it has a leaf stuck in it, the faster it spins, the more noisy it is so, i had a look and it hasnt got a leaf in it, so it maybe on its way out? has anyone changed it, or had any experience?? dan PS - does the cabin filter have a cover over it? - mine hasnt!

POST 2Original post

Hello The cabin filter will look quite exposed, think just 997 models have a little cover to protect it. The fan will need to be removed from under the dash, remove it and see if there is a leaf in there had this before ! We have got a 2nd hand fan/motor in stock which I could sell you if you need one... as they are over £250 ! Mike

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi mike, yes the pollen filter is very exposed, its strange cos there is a lower half holder with a clip on it that seems to go nowhere, hopefully someone can send me a piccy took your advice and removed the panel near the diag socket and luckily there is a little inspection hatch, and there is was a tiny piece of leaf, this must have dropped in when i cleaned the pollen filter

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi richard, yes - is it ment to go over the pollen filter or just hang there?

POST 6Original post

That looks like the telephone aerial holder if you had that option fitted. May be mistaken. Mike
