I am looking at a 2000 C4 blk/blk with just under 90K, service records (waiting on exact records), 6spd, 17" wheels don't think it has many more options. Anyone have any suggestions or comments about the mileage would be appreciated. I would have to travel 700 plus miles to see the car (Columbus, OH) I know the rear main was replaced in the 40K range, but don't know about the clutch yet. Also price range that I sould expect to pay would be nice.

Just purchased a 1 owner 2001 C4 w/ 10.5K miles w/ the following Xenon Headlamps Headlamp Washers 18 Turbo Look Wheels Chrome Exhaust Tips Power Memory Seats Lumbar Driver Lumbar Passenger Carbon Fiber Shift **** Carbon Fiber Brake Handle Heated Seats In Dash CD Hi FI Sound System PSM Paid 46K + 3.5K for a 48M/50K extended warranty...From what's you've described, i suggest low/mid 30's... If your budget allows..i'd suggest looking for something with fewer miles and consider an aftermarket warranty ( ie: easy care) It's tough to say without seeing the car...

Jonathan - you might want to ask if anyone on the Forum lives in Columbus and would be willing to chack it out for you. That has been done a few times and in some instances, has saved the potential buyer a long trip and PPI money. It's worth a shot.

Thanks for the responses. I have had others for the 951 and 968 forums check out a car for me prior to travel and it has saved me at least once. If I get more serious I will put the request out. Thanks again.
