Hi All, can anyone advise me up to which year eg 2003 - 2004 (or more recent), is a compatible Sat Nav CD for a 2000 - 2001 car. I currently have 2000 - 2001 CD, but would like a relatively inexpensive update. Does anyone know where I can get one as I am not interested in spending £100's on a proper upgrade. :?: Meags

I think you'll be OK with a CD up to 2005 after which they went to DVD, which will not be compatible

depending on the software in your PCM you may need to upgrade it before you can use up to date maps..... i used the upgrade from Gil at Quicksilver automotive and now use 2009 maps that are still available strangely from vauxhaul!....... This is for the PCM1 unit in my 2002 996 If you search the forum it has been discussed before - i think the whole lot cost me £170 inc post and packing ???
