Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hey Guys; Looking at doing a brake job, i will be performing it myself. It looks pretty straight forward. Looking for opinions on the parts. I plan to change the rotors, pads, sensors, and the brake hardware. A couple of questions. For street driving what is the best way to go. Least dust etc? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks Brett By the way the car has 55000 miles...

POST 2Original post

I would use the factory parts. For rotors in particular, make sure you use Porsche parts (not OEM Zimmermans) to reduce squealing. I'd buy the stuff from Porsche Dealership, Audi Dealership, Portland Car Dealership | Sunset Imports
