Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does any body know if speed cameras can be loaded onto the pcm2 navigation.

POST 2Original post

Not that I am aware of.... Better of with a standalone device or your run-of-the-mill GPS....

POST 3Original post

NOP is the answer. And its a shame to be honest as is the primary feature that is missing from any modern or old SatNav. My old Navman 510 has that and is 5 years old...

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A few of my friends who have e46 m3's have cameras added to there sat nav, it wasnt supposed to be possible but they have managed!

POST 6Original post

As I see it there are two problems; 1) Getting a camera database in the format which PCM2 will recognise. Camera warnings usually work on a Points of Interest file. There are plenty of camera PoI files available in csv or ov2 format for TomTom, etc, but it would be a computing challenge to integrate these into the PCM db PoI files. 2) Other systems allow for PoI warnings to be set, to alert you to their proximity. As far as I know, PCM2 doesn't have a 'warn when near' feature.

POST 7Original post

iirc, there are some pretty comprehensive how-to-do-it guides to accomplishing this on the net. Possibly this would help with attempting to do the same with the Porsche system???

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
