400 bucks for 4 wheels sounds good....I like the powder coating look, but think it looks a little thicker than a paintjob....don't know which stand the test of time better...

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just got my new (to me) set of 19" rims....I wanna do them in black so I wanna paint or powder coat...pros and cons on both are welcomed....Plus what types of prices for both.....i have a quote from a great paint shop at $100 a wheel, which seems very reasonable....I know they will do a great job. Also there is curb rash on 2 wheels, so who fixes them?

400 bucks for 4 wheels sounds good....I like the powder coating look, but think it looks a little thicker than a paintjob....don't know which stand the test of time better... Post images when you are done...I love black rims! My P is going for the conversion today..so after the weekend mine will look a lot like yours (in the front) I know you also did the turbo bumper in the back, saw it on 6speed....looks sweet!
