Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, I have tried and tried to find that thread on how to modify your stock exhaust to sound like the PSE. But I cant seem to locate it anywhere! Can anyone help me???

POST 2Original post

Here is what you are looking for to replace the exhaust........cutting it open to "try" and sound like a sport exhaust is probably not the same: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...&highlight=PSE http://www.funcarsonline.com/ubbthre...rue#Post108035 Now, if you want to create your own PSE, then my suggestion is to ping user "1999Porsche911" since he has talked about feasability of it and the costs are about $150.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

NO those links are not it. 1999Porsche911 sounds like what i am talking about. cost was about 150. Where is the thread?

POST 4Original post

Not sure. Don't recall seeing it. However, if you ping 1999 he might know.

POST 6Original post

OK, I had it all planned for the past weekend. Happier than a kid in a candystore. Take my car to the muffler shop, they put it on the bridge....big dissapointment. My OEM mufflers did not look like the ones in the pictures the above thread refers to. The closed off hole at the top of the muffler simply wasn't there. All there was was a bulge, and the muffler shop guys didn't want to start cutting in it. My car is a 2000 996. Maybe the 3.6L mufflers are different. Anybody done this mod to the 3.4L mufflers ?

POST 7Original post

The 3.6 mufflers ARE different and can accomidate the PSE mod. As my post stated, I used the 2003 mufflers.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
